Soften the room. Keep the drama.
Large leaves catch the red light, soften the steel, and give the room depth.

A quick planning guide
Put greenery where guests will feel it most
Start with the moments that need warmth, focus, or a clear sense of place. Then choose plants that fit the size and feeling of the room.
Before you choose a single plant
Picture the feeling first
Decide where you want warmth, energy, focus, or a sense of arrival. The plant list comes after.
- 01
What should guests notice the moment they arrive?
- 02
Where do you want people to gather and stay?
- 03
Which spaces feel too hard, empty, or unfinished?
- 04
Should the room feel calm, lush, warm, playful, or dramatic?
- 05
Where can height add impact without blocking a face, screen, sign, or camera?
- 06
What will the lighting do to the color and shape of the leaves?
- 07
What must stay clear for guests, service, accessibility, and egress?
Beautiful in the room. Easy on show day.

Looks beautiful in the deck. Works in the venue.
We work alongside creative, scenic, lighting, venue, and production teams so the greenery supports the look—and never gets in the way of sightlines, service, or guest flow.
Working through an agency? Send the mood board, floor plan, brand colors, and approval timeline. We will turn them into a clear greenery plan your producer can review with scenic, lighting, and venue partners.

What planners ask us
Straight answers about event greenery
Scale, timing, cost, and what actually makes a room feel different.
What does greenery add to a corporate event?
It makes a room feel warmer, softer, and more alive. Plants can pull focus to a stage or bar, give a lounge a sense of place, and carry one look through a large venue. Placement and scale matter more than filling every corner.
How many plants do I need for a large event?
There is no magic number. Start with the moments that matter: arrival, stage, bar, lounge, walkways, and camera views. A few well-placed trees or generous groupings often do more than dozens of small plants.
Which plants look best in a large venue?
Plants need enough height and shape to be seen across the room. Broad leaves catch light. Branching trees add movement. Dense greens fill lower spaces. The final mix depends on the mood, lighting, sightlines, room conditions, and what is available.
Can plants define zones without walls?
Yes. Plants can frame a lounge, mark an entrance, or guide guests between spaces without making the room feel closed in. Required paths, egress, and accessible routes stay clear.
When should I book event plant rentals?
Four to six weeks is a comfortable window for most events. Larger or highly specific installations benefit from more time, and rush projects may be possible. Bring us in early when access is complex or the look depends on particular plants or planters.
Does The Preserve deliver, install, and remove event plants?
Yes. We deliver, install, style, strike, and pick up. Delivery and setup are quoted separately from plant rentals. One rental price covers up to three event days.
How much does event plant rental cost?
Projects start at a $3,000 event minimum. Plant rentals are priced by item. Delivery and setup depend on venue access, timing, and the installation plan. Send the event details and we will return an itemized proposal.
Where does The Preserve provide event plant rentals?
We serve the greater Bay Area, plus Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, DC. Other Northern California locations may be available by arrangement. Send the city and venue and we will confirm coverage.
