📬 Acclimating your tissue culture 🌱
Nurturing a rare plant from tissue culture is both rewarding and cost-effective. Your unique plant will thrive with the expert care and awareness about their needs. Our plant babies need to be acclimated when they arrive.
1. Use a tweezer to gently take the tissue cultures out of the glass bottle.
2. Rinse off the agar and remove any blackened roots or yellowing yellowing leaves.
3. Disinfect the tissues cultures by placing them in a bowl of water mixed a few drops of Neem oil & Castile soap.
4. Prepare another bowl of distilled water and a few drops of rooting hormone. Soak the tissue cultures in this mixture for 5 minutes.
5. Plant tissue cultures into a mixture of 50% perlite and 50% coco coir.
6. Slightly moisten, but not soak, the mixture. Cover to preserve 90%+ humidity.
7. Acclimate for 2-4 weeks with LED lighting for 12-18 hr/day.

During winter and/or colder months, we ask that you understand that we will wait for a safe time to ship these delicate plants which will increase your processing time. Heat packs are available for purchase for $5.

Please inspect your tissue culture immediately upon delivery. Contact us within the same day that they arrive with photos in the original packaging to be eligible for a replacement. This guarantee does not include the plant dying in your care after arrival.
Our top priority is customer satisfaction and therefore do our best to make sure you receive what you have ordered. Once you have placed your order, we cannot accept returns or cancellations. If you have further questions about this, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you ship?
Yes! We provide low cost shipping for purchases under $100, and free shipping for purchases $100+ (excluding rare plants). Plants are professionally packaged to ensure they arrive beautiful and healthy.
Do you deliver?
We deliver on weekends within a 25 mile radius. Rare plants are not eligible for delivery. Free delivery is available for purchases of $300+ otherwise we charge an additional $45.
Do you guarantee that the plants are healthy?
We do our best to choose the healthiest plants for your home, just like we would for our own. Though we cannot offer a full guarantee, if you pick up your order in store, you can inspect upon arrival and get a refund or exchange if you are not satisfied. Once the plant leaves our shop, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges!
What is your refund or exchange policy?
All plants are final sale, no exceptions. Pots, planters, and any non living items can be exchanged or returned within 30 days if unused. Items that have been damaged subsequent to purchase cannot be returned or exchanged.
